Terms of Use (EULA)

These Terms of Use (the "Agreement") govern your use of Unseg(the "App"), an iOS application developed by Santiago Panizza("we", "us"). By downloading, installing or using the App you accept this Agreement. If you don't agree, don't use the App.

This Agreement is between you and Santiago Panizza only, not with Apple Inc. Santiago Panizza — not Apple — is solely responsible for the App and its content.

1. What Unseg does

Unseg is an alarm clock that blocks the apps you choose for a period of time you choose, starting when you turn the alarm off. App blocking is performed by Apple's Screen Time system (Family Controls), which requires your explicit permission and which you can revoke at any time from iOS Settings.

Unseg requires iOS 26 or later.

2. Eligibility and account

You must be at least 13 years old — or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, whichever is higher — to use the App. An account created with Sign in with Apple is required. You are responsible for keeping access to your Apple ID secure and for any activity carried out through your account.

3. Licence

We grant you a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive and revocable licence to use the App on any Apple-branded device that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service. The licence does not allow you to use the App on a device you do not own or control, or to distribute or make it available over a network where it could be used by multiple devices at once.

4. Subscriptions, free trial and renewal

• Unseg is offered as an auto-renewable subscription with two plans: $0.49 / week and $17.99 / year. Final prices are displayed by the App Store in your local currency and may vary by region.
• The weekly plan includes a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited if you purchase a subscription during the trial period.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
• The subscription renews automatically at the same price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.
• You can manage or cancel the subscription in your App Store account settings, or from Settings → Manage subscription inside the App. Deleting the App does not cancel the subscription.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policy. We cannot issue refunds directly. If you live in the EU or the UK you may have a statutory right of withdrawal; you can exercise it through Apple, which is the seller of record.
• We may change prices. Changes never apply to a period already paid for, and Apple will ask for your consent before charging a higher renewal price.

5. Important: this is not a safety device

Do not rely on Unseg in situations where failing to wake up, or failing to access an app, could cause harm, danger or loss. The App depends on iOS, on the permissions you grant, on your device being on and charged, and on system features that may change or fail. Alarms may not ring and blocks may not apply or lift as expected.

Blocking never affects emergency calls, the Phone app or system functions that Apple protects. Even so, you are solely responsible for choosing which apps you block and for the consequences of not being able to use them during the period you configured. You can lift any block immediately by turning off the Screen Time permission in iOS Settings.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the App to restrict another person's device without their informed consent.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or attempt to extract the source code, except where such restriction is prohibited by law.
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in breach of this Agreement.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach this section.

7. Maintenance and support

Santiago Panizza is solely responsible for providing any maintenance and support for the App. Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance or support services. For support, write to santiagopanizza2005@gmail.com.

8. Warranty

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or uninterrupted operation, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price of the App to you. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple will have no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the App. Any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses attributable to a failure to conform to any warranty are our sole responsibility.

9. Product claims

Santiago Panizza, and not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims by you or a third party relating to the App or your possession and use of it, including: (i) product liability claims; (ii) any claim that the App fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement; and (iii) claims arising under consumer protection, privacy or similar legislation, including in connection with the App's use of the HealthKit or HomeKit frameworks (which Unseg does not use).

10. Intellectual property

The App, its name, its logo and its content belong to Santiago Panizza. In the event of any third-party claim that the App or your possession and use of it infringes that third party's intellectual property rights, Santiago Panizza, and not Apple, is solely responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement and discharge of that claim.

11. Legal compliance

You represent and warrant that (i) you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo, or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country; and (ii) you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. You also agree to comply with any applicable third-party terms when using the App.

12. Third-party beneficiary

You acknowledge and agree that Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this Agreement, and that, upon your acceptance of it, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce this Agreement against you as a third-party beneficiary.

13. Changes to the service and to this Agreement

We may add, change or remove features, and update this Agreement. If a change is material, we will announce it inside the App and update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Unseg after a change means you accept it.

14. Termination

You can stop using the App at any time by deleting your account from Settings → Delete account, or by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate access if this Agreement is breached. Termination does not cancel your subscription: cancel it through Apple.

15. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Santiago Panizza shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, nor for loss of profit, opportunity or data, arising from the use of or inability to use the App. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the subscription in the 12 months prior to the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in this Agreement excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

16. Governing law and miscellaneous

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence. If any provision is held invalid, the rest remains in force. This Agreement is the entire agreement between you and us regarding the App. You may not assign it; we may assign it in connection with a transfer of the App.
